CD Release, week one update

Hello everyone! Our first week of the new CD release has been a great one. We are receiving a lot of airplay and press since the release and also a lot of great feedback. We truly appreciate the broadcasters who play our music and you, our fans, who make the requests and purchase our music. Both CDs and downloads are available on our site and your other favorite locations like iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby. If it's a CD you're looking for, Artie is eagerly awaiting to ship and while supplies last, a commemorative sticker image of the CD if you order from our store. Please keep him busy!

Missy was the subject of three radio interviews last week. The DJs included Mike Kear at Hawkesbury Radio in Australia, who featured the album on his Music From Foggy Hollow show. The interview was spread throughout while he played seven of our songs. The show will rebroadcast on July 18th on station WAMU. Annette Grady of The Bluegrass Jamboree interviewed Missy on Friday and Richard Gordon of station WVUD spoke to her on Saturday. Both played a number of songs as they chatted about all of the latest happenings. Thank you!

We finished at #2 on the AirPlay Direct download chart for the month of June with over 900 downloads and our PR firm, Hearth Music sent well over 300 CD's to broadcasters and music publications in advance of the release. Our music is out there for all to hear and read about. We hope that you will let them know your appreciation for playing our music. Bluegrass Today was the first publication with a complete album review, following Engine 145's review and stream of the song "Dead Man Walking". Check both of their sites often for the latest Bluegrass news.

Wow, what a week!  Thanks for stopping by, more updates to come.
